Nothing in life is more certain than death, takes and CHANGE.
We're thinking about making a change, something to improve the engagement level on the site and build on a fun element while making it easier for performers to control their rooms.
The concept is simple: relax the open room rules where basically anything you can do in private (nudity, toys, etc.) is acceptable in open. Make the tipping functionality in open via the gift system easier to use and more fun.
Then, if a model wants to do a sexy strip show in open for tips instead of trying to get one customer to go private; they can.
Definitely not for everyone, but I think some performers would really enjoy it and many customers might have a better time on the site even when they are not the ones tipping, etc.
Curious to hear your thoughts!

Thanks guys. I think that on the male side of the site this concept could be even more powerful than on the female side.
There's nothing else like it AFAIK and I could see it being a pretty fun experience!

I agree totally with the majority of people who have posted in the str8 forum regarding this.
I really think if you do this you are just opening up the site to the beggers ,efectively giving them a licence to beg. Its bad enough and annoying to be visiting with a model only to see him/her get so frustrated cos of all the begging and free requests.... I really do not see the thinking here. How you think this will make more for models or the site , it will be the same thing a few members will tip and the rest will sit back and enjoy .
I have seen other sites that allow something similar , but not in open , if for example a member tips for a strip , then he /she gets the strip for a minute or two , but no one else will see it . its a request for a specific mini show paid by a set rate tip.
Anyway I have been on here for many years and seen lots of changes here , some good , some not so much , I do think this one falls into the bad category.
Just my opionin .

Good points. That's certainly a concern, no doubt about it. However I think it comes from a fearful position about what "might be" based on the current dynamics of the site.
When I look at other sites that use this way of doing things I see very little begging. What I see is a lot of activity and discussion.
Remember - Some of the begging now comes from people who can't afford or aren't inclined to spend 60 credits or more per minute. Other than VOD they currently have no recourse ... no way to participate so they beg. Their begging is a result of our wonderful performers and the fact that we haven't given them a product they can participate in.

I was against this first and still am for the most part but if I am going to take a model private to do a show it might not be a bad idea for him to show a quick peek of his cock or ass and I give him a tip before sweeping him off to some one-on-one time. It may entice other members to join and it may not.
I certainly wouldn't ask a model to do a whole show in open because it seems foolish to spend the credits and have nothing to show for it--at least when I go private there is a VOD that I can watch at a later time.
Maybe a trial period is needed to gage the effectiveness of this method.

Have you thrown this out to all your models to gauge their reaction? I checked one today. He hasn't heard of this and, furhermore, he appears reluctant.
Yup, it's the #1 thread in the performer forum with more views and posts than all of the customer threads on this topic combined.

Maybe the performer could be listed in a category like Open Play to show which performers are participating. I can see a problem in a room where a performer is not wanting to do a "peek show" prior to private or just for tips.

I think it's a great idea and would work well for the performers who know how to be very seductive. They can seduce in open chat and get tips and then take it further in private. This might even draw out the hot performers some of us never get to see (the ones who always banish themselves to semi-private or take themselves private).

The beggars will just get to enjoy free shows paid for by a minority of good customers.
In fact the begging will get worse than it is now. The beggars will now know that a performer can reveal all, if he wants to, as it no longer against the site's rules. Those performers that do not respond in a positive manner will be subject to abuse, something that will inevitably upset them and put off this site's serious visitors.
Another fear I have is that this will just cheapen this site as the beggars and freeloaders will dominate the rooms. The gentle and fun flirting , leading to a private, which we enjoy now, will end. This site will no longer provide a quality entertainment product.
Having said all that, I thank F4F for the opportunity to put forward my view. There are not many businesses that would so generously allow me to do so. Quote
