Today I published an update that allows you to whisper in a much more convenient fashion.
In the past, in order to whisper you needed to type something like this:
/MODEL_NAME MESSAGE
With the update I put out today, you can now whisper using this format:
/MESSAGE
Whispers now become as convenient as standard messages, making day to day chat more fluid, especially for mobile users. Be sure to clear your cache so you get the latest update.

What I don't like about it is The Models whisper us but we are not allowed to whisper back because they or you have it turned off for us. If the Model has it turned on for them I think it should be turned on for the customer. If this cant be done then turned it back off and keep it off. If you cant say it in open room then I think it is because the customer are asking to meet on the side and turning flirt into a escort service and you all allow it. I do not care for the Whisper Mode and was glad you got rid of it before.

By default, all VIP users and users who have spent money or have a card on file are allowed to whisper to the model and it's been this way for years.
Though our models are stewards of their own rooms so they always have the ability to whisper with options to block whispers as they see fit. All members in some way can be affected by this.
There is no longer any reason why you need to specify the model name in a whisper. So the point of this update was to simply make the process of writing a whisper to the model easier. Quote

That explains why when I was typing /modelname I was seeing the modelname on the front of my whisper messages.

One thing i dont like is the model's ability to turn off whispers from VIP, i think there should be an....'incentive' to buy VIP. Just my

I disagree. I'm glad everyone with a card on file can whisper. However, I don't think every model knows how to whisper to members. Maybe a quick tutorial or refresher for them?

Whispers do give VIP members (and card users?) more intimate chat time with their favourite models. I have found models appreciate this more and is welcome when some 'basic' users ask silly questions or make unreasonable demands. Models are here for our pleasure, entertainment and more. Anything that makes it easier for us to use whisper is very welcome. Thank You VS3 team.

But At times it makes me feel that it would have been great that whisper messages were only allowed to VIP members. Bcoz premium members do take due advantage of this feature. If this feature is allowed for everyone, then whats the point in being a VIP member.

/Hello
will appear as
[member name] (whisper): Hello
Premium members can also whisper, but only it the performer allows it. Fan club members can also whisper, but only in the room of the performer whose fan club they belong to.
If you are unable to whisper using this format, it may also be due to the browser you are using. For example, it may not work the same on a tablet as it would on a laptop or PC. Quote

It's probably impossible to tell, but there was a slight difference: the space was included in the whispered message.

This is very cool and just answered some question for me. On the chat room screen do other members get to see with whom the model is chatting?

No, thus it is called "whispering". It allows the model and member to converse privately even in open chat without anyone else in the room knowing.
The only way other members will know there is whispering going on is if either the model or member makes a mistake and says or types something "out loud" in chat, or if the model is obviously responding through typing (with nothing appearing on the screen) or speaking (with no apparent cause).
